  Kim: Thank you for your review Kim. First off we're very sorry you were not happy with our services. Doing over 10,000 events over the past 25 years I take every disappointed customer to heart. I never received your email and if I would have i would of responded immediately and done the best I can for you to rectify the situation. We at Frank's DJ Service strive on customer service and being Windsor leader in DJ entertainment for the past 25 years we have proven just that. I felt horrible for you when you contacted our company when your other DJ cancelled on you so close to your wedding and stepped up to the plate immediately and found you one of our DJ's last minute to accommodate your DJ needs at the last minute. Please accept our apology and know that Frank's DJ Service does it's best to play your guests requests throughout the evening as well as making sure we announce and special requests. Normally on a typical evening we play 60-70 songs (9pm to 1am duration) so it's very very difficult to get to everyone requests. Sorry again Kim and Frank's DJ Service did our best we could for you at the last minute and look forward to working with you down the road.

  Frank helped to save the day when the DJ for my wedding fell through. I was very thankful for that, however, I wish we had went somewhere else. We would have been better off asking any random friend with a laptop to do the job. When we met with our DJ, we asked him if he could play a different song for each of the wedding party entrances at the wedding reception. He told us that he didn't have the equipment to do this. It was something that we were really hoping to have, so my fiance (who has never DJ'ed anything) sat down, downloaded a free program on his computer, and put a CD together. All of this was done in under an hour. Isn't this something that someone who calls themselves a Disc Jockey should be able to do? We gave him the CD to play. All he had to do was press "next" when each different couple walked in for the reception. Luckily, he was able to do this. During the dancing part of the reception, we had MULTIPLE guests come up to tell us how bad our DJ was. It was a little slow getting people on the dance floor; when people finally started going up to the dancefloor, excited for a song that he put on (I think it was the hustle), he abruptly changed the song (in the middle of the song). He did this often; a song would be playing, it would abruptly stop, and there would be a long pause before the next song started. To top it off, guests told us that he was extremely rude when they went up requesting a song. Even my mom (mother of the bride) was given attitude when she requested a song. After we returned from our honeymoon a few weeks later, I wrote to Frank to let him know how disappointed I was with the DJ that we had. All I would have liked was a simple courtesy email apologizing; he has yet to respond. I would never recommend Special Events & Tents to ANYONE. If you're in a tough situation and desperately need a DJ, save yourself the money and make a playlist on your computer.
